Clinical AssignmentEach student is expected to arrive promptly and dressed appropriately to perform duties. The student may not leave a duty assignment for any reason without consulting with the instructor. Arrangement of clinical assignments will be the responsibility of the instructor. Clinical rotation is 32 hours and does not include breaks. Students will need to bring their own lunches when skills or clinical time includes a meal time. Students must provide their own transportation to clinical sites. Students are also required to supply their own scrub top and pants, wrist watch with a second hand and white shoes (athletic shoes are acceptable).
Job PlacementUpon graduation and successful completion of the MA State CNA Certification examination, graduates will receive assistance with job searching, including guidance on opportunities in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and hospitals. While BHI does not provide or guarantee job placement, we encourage graduates to complete the state exam before pursuing employment opportunities listed online and through other job search resources.
